Read Biography & Service Focus
Queen Linda McMichael is the proud mother of
three children and grandmother of two. She has
been a member of the Montford Point Marine
Association, Chapter 10 Auxiliary, for more
than ten years.
Since attending her first monthly meeting,
she has remained actively involved, serving
on several committees and supporting the
organization’s ongoing activities.
Outside of her service with the Association,
Linda enjoys dancing, spending quality time
with family and friends, and embracing all
that life has to offer. She values special
moments with loved ones and believes in
making time to enjoy life and create
lasting memories.
Her years of membership have provided
opportunities to connect with fellow members,
contribute her time, and participate in
activities that bring people together
through service and fellowship.
Her service focus:
As National Queen, Linda hopes to make her
reign a year of connection, outreach, and
meaningful involvement. One priority is
visiting other chapters within the Chapter 10
area to meet members, learn about their
activities, and show support for their work.
She also plans to encourage community
engagement and help more people understand
the historical significance of the
Original Montford Point Marines.
A Message from Our National Queen
Greetings to the Montford Point Marine Association
and Auxiliary family!
I am truly honored to serve as your 2026–2027
National Queen. After more than ten years with
the Chapter 10 Auxiliary, this opportunity
means a great deal to me.
I look forward to meeting members from other
chapters, sharing fellowship, and working
together throughout the year. I hope my reign
will allow me to make new connections, support
our communities, and encourage others to take
an interest in the history of the Original
Montford Point Marines.
Thank you for welcoming me into this role.
I look forward to a wonderful year together!
With appreciation, Queen Linda McMichael
